Founders
Jeff Tucker
Jeff’s initial concept laid the foundation for Best Mates, shaping the model that now delivers our lived-experience support services across the UK. He played a central role in developing the structure that connects individuals with a Mate and ensures support is accessible, practical and community-led.
Jeff also leads the national rollout of Walk N Talk Wednesdays, working to establish groups in new locations and expand the charity’s presence across the UK.

Operations Team
Corinne Paul
Corinne oversees the day-to-day operations of Best Mates, ensuring that systems, safeguarding processes and programme delivery run smoothly and effectively. She plays a vital role in coordinating Walk ‘N’ Talk groups, supporting volunteers and maintaining the operational standards that allow the charity to grow safely and sustainably.
Her leadership helps ensure that every individual who reaches out receives consistent, well-managed support.
